Reserving Classroom Space

If you need to reserve classroom space, please email orsrooms@uoguelph.ca and included in your request all of the required information based on the type of activity being scheduled.

Academic Requests: I.E. midterms, exam review sessions, and other course related activities

Student Clubs: Student Clubs MUST be CSA accredited, College and Departmental Clubs should include their departmental administrator on all emails

All other room requests: Any requests which do not fit into the above categories.

Requests not containing the required information will be returned and may result in your request not being processed.

 

Reservation Timelines

We require a minimum of 2 business days to process a room booking.

Audio Visual Requirements

For Audio Visual requirements, this includes access codes for the computer/projector or other A/V questions please refer to Classroom Technical Support.

 

Academic Requests

Academic requests are booked on a semesterly basis. For information specific to midterms please refer to Midterm Room Booking.

Breakout rooms/additional rooms/room changes should be sent to courschd@uoguelph.ca prior to the start of the semester based on scheduling timelines.

Please ensure your request includes the following information:

Course Code

Instructor

Date Required

Time Required (Start and End Time)

Purpose

Number of Students

Preferred Location

 

Student Clubs or Groups 

Student Club requests are generally processed on a monthly basis. Please note due to limited space during the academic day (Monday – Friday 08:30 – 17:30) it will not be uncommon for us to not be able to find space for your request. It is recommended that student clubs plan their events in the evenings or on weekends to increase their chance of space being available.

Please ensure your request includes the following information, and that College and Departmental clubs include their departmental administrator on all emails:
