Transferring to another degree program (internal transfer)

Transferring to another degree program (internal transfer) at the University of Guelph

If the specialization you are interested in is not offered within the BA degree program, you will need to apply for an internal transfer into another degree program.

For example, if you are currently in the BA degree program and wish to declare a Major in Management, you would need to apply for an internal transfer into the Bachelor of Commerce (B.Comm) degree program. To declare a Major in Biology, you would need to complete an internal transfer into the Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree program.

A list of all Degree Programs, and their associated specializations, can be found here.

Notably, you must meet the admissions requirements (including high school courses) for the degree program that you wish to transfer into.

Questions related to how your courses will count towards various degree programs should be directed to the relevant Program Counselling Office.
