Ontario Network of Women in Engineering Summit 2021 (Virtual)

The Ontario Network of Women in Engineering (ONWiE)  is holding a Canada-wide online Summit on Thursday, November 18, 2021 from 1:00 to 5:00 pm (Eastern Time). Their purpose is to bring folks together across Canada to share best practices for inclusive outreach, teaching and internship to build effective, diverse engineering communities. Katherine Sorensen (Co-op Coordinator, Engineering) will be part of the panel discussing “Positive co-op and internship experiences for all”.

Attendees will then choose to participate in panels and workshops about the following topics:

1. Effective high school outreach models
2. Building inclusive experiences for engineering students
3. Positive co-op and internship experiences for all
