Join the Morwick G360 Groundwater Research Institute for a campus-wide and community event, World Water Day 2022 at the University of Guelph! The theme for this year is Groundwater: Making the Invisible Visible.

About World Water Day: Groundwater provides 30% of Canada’s water supply and more than half of all drinking water worldwide, but little is known about this critically important resource, and it is threatened by contamination, overuse, and climate change. To bring awareness to this vital but unseen resource, the United Nations has declared 2022 the year of groundwater, dedicating its annual World Water Day event to Groundwater: Making the Invisible Visible. We invite you to join us on March 22, 2022 to amplify the importance of sustainable groundwater management.

Registration is mandatory for both in-person and virtual attendance. There is no cost for this event.
