2011 ICASP Symposium - "Making the Changes: Ethics and the Improvising Business"

The Improvisation, Community, and Social Practice (ICASP) project and the College of Management and Economics are proud co-sponsors of the upcoming 2011 ICASP Symposium. The symposium is scheduled for Friday, December 2, 2011 at the Macdonald Stewart Art Centre (MSAC). University of Guelph, under the theme " Making the Changes: Ethics and the Improvising Business ". The symposium will run from 1:00pm - 6:00pm on the second floor of MAC followed by a musical performance in the main gallery from 8:00pm - 10:00pm. All events are free and open to the public. Attached is a short document which provides some additional context for the symposium. The schedule for the afternoon portion of the symposium consists of five 45-minute sessions with notable guest speakers including: 1. *Nancy Adler, S. Bronfman Chair in Management at the Desautels Faculty of Management, McGill University 2. Keith Sawyer, Professor of Psychology and Education at Washington University in St. Louis; 3. Alan Convery, National Manager of Community Relations, TD Bank; 4. Chris MacDonald : Visiting Scholar at the Clarkson Centre for Business Ethics and Board Effectiveness, Rotman School of Management; 5. Pete Johnston/Ken Aldcroft/Scott Thomson: Improvising musicians;
