About the panel

Dr. Jamie Gruman

Jamie Gruman is a full professor in the Lang School of Business and Economics and the Founding Chair of the Canadian Positive Psychology Association.

An expert in workplace well-being, he has published papers in some of the world’s top-ranked business journals and is the lead editor of the market-leading textbook on Applied Social Psychology. His latest book, Boost, explains how people can recharge their batteries when away from work.

He has appeared in global media such as Forbes, Fast Company, and the New York Times, and has worked with Fortune 500 corporations, public, and not-for-profit organizations including General Motors, Departments and Agencies of the Government of Canada, and the Children’s Wish Foundation

Dr. Sandeep Mishra

Prof. Sandeep Mishra is Associate Professor of Management at the Lang School of Business and Economics at the University of Guelph. His research expertise is in the areas of judgment and decision-making (risk-taking, social comparison, competition) and mental health and well-being (anxiety/depression, resilience, dis/advantage, antisocial conduct). Sandeep teaches courses in organizational behavior, managerial decision-making, and negotiation/conflict management.

Crystal-Lee Olson, MA

A graduate of the Lang School’s Master’s in Leadership program, Crystal-Lee is a tactical leadership development professional, coach, and educator with Career Compass Canada.

On the foundation of over twenty years of business experience, Crystal-Lee channels her expertise to the key objective of corporate leadership development. She applies her background in sales management, marketing and education as the underpinning to big-picture client success.
