Details

The Global Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Benchmarks: Standards for Organizations Around the World (GDEIB) is produced by The Centre for Global Inclusion. It is one of the most widely used tools for managing and measuring DEI in organizations around the world. To keep this document current, it is revised every 5 years by a global group of Expert Panelists, representing a diversity of individual identities, regions around the world, type/sector of organization, and approach to diversity, equity, and inclusion work. In April 2021 the most recent edition of the GDEIB was released.

Hosted by the Lang School, in this virtual launch event, several Canadian-based expert panelists from the recent revision of the GDEIB will present on the newly released benchmarks, explaining how this free tool can be used to help employees, leaders, and organizations engage in diversity, equity, and inclusion best practices. Panelists will share the successes and challenges in their decades of DEI experience in corporate, governmental, non-profit, and community work to highlight how the GDEIB can advance equity and inclusion goals. The session will include opportunities for questions, discussions, and breakout rooms for attendees to learn how the GDEIB can be used to identify and support their institutional DEI priorities and goals.
