Join Daniel Poulin from the EL Hub as well as Carlo Martinez from Student Volunteer Connections to learn about the array of Experiential Learning opportunities that will help you to broaden your experience in a way that speaks to environmental employers. Jubril Bello will also share how his environmental experiences have helped make him a more competitive job applicant!

Carlo Martinez, EL Hub Campus & Community Integrated Learning Program Assistant 

Daniel Poulin, Manager, Experiential Learning Development and Recognition, Experiential Learning Hub, University of Guelph 
Daniel has over 18 years of experience in educational development and facilitation. Daniel's working life crosses both the university and community-benefit sector, specializing in enhancing the value-added benefits of volunteerism and work. Daniel has a strong and demonstrated commitment to relationship-centered consultation that values any and all contributions. Daniel is currently pursuing an interdisciplinary Master's degree focusing on issues of equity and inclusion in education and interactive media. 

Jubril Bello, BSc Environmental Geomatics, President of the University of Guelph Chapters of the Water Environment Association of Ontario and the Ontario Water Works Association 
Jubril is a 4th year Environmental Geomatics Co-op student and the President of the WEAO/OWWA Student Chapter. He oversees day-to-day operations, events planning and report writing on behalf of the Chapter. As part of his Experiential learning, Jubril has worked at Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry and currently works as a Research Assistant at the University of Guelph. His work primarily involves data analysis and hydrologic modeling.
