Career Connections and Cookhouse Labs Student Hack

Join as a team (or an individual, to be added to a team) to work together to come up with solutions for the Insurance industry on Risk Management! Further themes will include risk management applications in technology, climate, organizational behavior, and consumer perceptions.

Teams will join for a fun pre-event social, mentor check in, then tackle the hack on

  • Thursday, April 28 and
  • Friday, April 29
  • 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. EST

Solutions will be submitted over the weekend and the wrap up event will take place on

  • Monday, May 2
  • 1:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. EST 

The hackathon is a fun way to learn about Design Thinking, meet and networking with other students and Insurance industry professionals, develop your soft skills and have a great experience to add to your resume! Participants will receive a certificate of completion for attending. Plus, your team could win either $1000, $500 or $250 cash, and additional career building prizes.
