Come out to our first How to Excel workshop on September 29, 5:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m., online. This first workshop will provide an introduction to Excel for participants who have minimal experience with the software. Topics will cover basic functionality, features, and terminology of the program, as well as importing, organizing, and manipulating data within the program. This workshop would benefit individuals with little to no experience with Excel, or who are looking to refresh their basic Excel skills.

 

Our workshop leader is Dr. Lorna Deeth. Dr. Deeth has a BSc(H) in Mathematics, an MSc in Statistics, and a PhD in Applied Statistics. She has over 10 years of experience in education, including peer-to-peer supplemental instruction, transitional programs from high school to university-level mathematics, and university-level course instruction. Over the last few years, her teaching has included a focus on the use of software packages in university introductory statistics courses for students in commerce-related programs.
