Breaking Barriers, Creating Connections is back again this semester! Join us on Wednesday, November 16th from 3:30-6:30pm at Cutten Fields. It is FREE to attend but you must register.

This event is primarily designed to support Black students, racialized students and First Nations, Inuit, and Métis students as they navigate the business world. It is an opportunity for students to network with industry professionals from a variety of backgrounds and make connections with others who may face similar barriers. This event will consist of a networking session for Black students, racialized students and First Nations, Inuit, and Métis students (3:30-4:30pm), a panel with industry professionals that is open to everyone (4:30-5:30pm) and a post-panel networking session for all registered attendees (5:30-6:30pm).

Mary Anne Chambers - Chancellor, University of Guelph

Matthew Chegahno - Indigenous Engagement Advisor at Enbridge Inc.

Leanne Hall - CEO Creative Fire an Indigenous Marketing, Strategy, Engagement, Research and Communications Agency.

Khalil Khamis - CEO of Crafty Ramen and Franchisee of Harvey’s

Colin White - Vice President Head of Inside Sales at Mackenzie Investments

This event is a collaboration between the Lang Students' Association, Guelph Black Professionals, Gordon S. Lang School of Business and Economics and the John F. Wood Centre.
