All first year undergraduate students in Canada  are encouraged to register and join this annual, half-day virtual event designed to showcase the firm’s culture, people, platform and student opportunities and spotlight our Employee Resource Group network.

WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?
D&I Discovery Day highlights the firm's diverse and inclusive culture, with a spotlight on our active Employee Resource Group network and our many student opportunities across Capital Markets. This virtual global program will provide first year university and college students across North America an opportunity to engage in skill-building sessions while learning more about RBC's culture, platform, people, and internship programs across all businesses.

On Friday, March 31, 2023, students from across Canada and the United States will participate in a half-day program (1:00pm - 4:00pm EST) led in partnership with RBC's Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), which include:

  • MOSAIC, promoting an inclusive environment for employees of all origins, ethnicities, and religions 
  • MOSAIC Beacon, accelerating the inclusion and representation of Black professionals in leadership and executive positions across RBC
  • PRIDE, supporting 2SLGBTQ+ employees and promoting Allyship 
  • RFuture, helping the next generation of leaders at the firm excel, thrive, and innovate 
  • Royal Eagles, supporting aboriginal culture in and out of RBC
  • RWomen, promoting gender diversity and inclusion

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO REGISTER? 

  • Enrolled in a full-time undergraduate program in an accredited university or college in Canada with an expected graduation date between December 2025 - Spring 2026
  • A keen interest in the financial services industry and Diversity & Inclusion
  • This event is open to all first year university and college students from all academic programs - Business, Commerce/ Finance, STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math), or related programs
