In 2023, there were over 215 delegates representing 45 universities globally participate in the Global Stock Pitch (GSP) Competition. This year, before the deadline of March 21st, participants can submit a pitch covering any firm with a market capitalization between US$1 billion – US$10 billion and a share price greater than US$5.00, once adjusted for exchange rates, as of market close on March 21st, 2024. Participants will be competing for a prize pool of C$7,500, and finalists will then pitch to sponsors, which include Point72 and Warburg Pincus. The competition is designed to showcase students' financial skills while helping them gain a practical understanding of topics not usually covered within the classroom.
