Some get some goodies to support your local United Way on October 10th in the University Center!    

The School of Languages and Literatures in the College of Arts is selling cookbooks by donation, $10 suggested, with ALL proceeds  going to the United Way. The cookbooks feature recipes, and notes about their cultural importance, contributed by faculty and graduate students in SOLAL. Includes recipes from: Algeria, Britain, China, Ecuador, France, Italy, Mexico, Mongolia, Quebec, Serbia, Switzerland and Trinidad!

Come Support your United Way and CAF department!  Chili lunch and raffle prizes! $6 Chili + bun and pop. Come early while quantities last, meat or veggie options available.   

$5 lunch: hot dog, corn on the cob, drink $5 dessert: apple crisp with U of G Food Sciences vanilla ice cream, drink FREE cotton candy and popcorn! Vegetarian and vegan options available All proceeds from the event go to the United Way of Guelph Wellington Dufferin.

Please join us on our 2019 Seeing is Believing Tour! An opportunity to visit some of the United Way partner agencies first hand that benefit from the incredible support throughout the University of Guelph. Our tour will be leaving directly from the Volunteer Connections Luncheon at the President's House and will be returning you to the same place. On the tour, we will be visiting two of our downtown agencies:

You are invited to join fellow United Way volunteers from across campus to celebrate our incredible achievements in 2018 and get to know each other better as we prepare for the 2019 campaign! Weather permitting, the event will once again be hosted in the President's House Gardens.  Should the weather not co-operate, we will be getting together inside of PJ's Restaurant. **Please note, if you have any food allergies, let Stephanie Smith know at stephanie@unitedwayguelph.com
