Professor Gary Grewal, and two of the students who have spent the last year working on the IronTracker App - Andrew D'Angelo and John Carter - are off to Ottawa for a reception on Parliament Hill on May 12th.

The group have been invited to attend a reception hosted by The Canadian Hemochromatosis Society (CHS) and Senator David Wells, to bring awareness to the hereditary disease. Senator Wells spoke on the issue in February after the passing of Marie Warder, founder of the CHS.

During the event, Dr. Grewal and the students will be acknowledged in the gallery during parliament, and will meet with various MPs. The day will cap off with an evening wine-and-cheese where the team will get to chat with various Senators and MPs.
