Computer Science PhD Awarded CSC Scholarship

Le Wang, an incoming Fall 2022 PhD Student in the School of Computer Science (SoCS), has been granted the China Scholarship Council (CSC) Doctoral Scholarship. This prestigious award was presented to Le for their outstanding academic achievement and proposed research.

Working under the supervision of Dr. Xiaodong Lin, Le plans to pursue doctoral research in the area of blockchain security and privacy for financial services. According to Le, “I will focus on investigating and exploring the security requirements of different financial services, and propose novel and comprehensive solutions that simultaneously address low cost-effectiveness, privacy leakage and unfriendly regulation issues based on blockchain and cryptography theories.”
