SoCS Graduate Awards and Scholarships 2021

Each year, our Graduate students achieve new academic heights by receiving some of the most prestigious Provincial Scholarships. At the same time, the College of Engineering and Physical Sciences (CEPS) celebrates the outstanding achievements of their students with awards and scholarships that recognize their academic accomplishments, engagement, leadership, innovation, and drive to give back to the community.

The School of Computer Science is proud to highlight the following Bachelor of Computing Graduate students who won exemplary scholarships from the University and as well as the provincial level. Congratulations to our 2021 winners!

Provincial Graduate Scholarships are:

Kassandra (Kassy) Raymond - Ontario Graduate Scholarship

Ontario Graduate Scholarship (OGS) is a merit-based scholarship that is given to the students enrolled at the masters or doctoral level. The award given is jointly funded by the Province of Ontario and the School that offers the award. Kassandra has successfully won a scholarship of $15,000 for 3 consecutive study terms. Angela Marcela Kohut - Queen Elizabeth II Graduate Scholarship in Science and Technology (QEII-GSST)

QEII-GSST is a merit-based scholarship that is awarded to students in Science and Technology at the masters and doctoral levels. The award is jointly funded by the Province of Ontario and the School that is offering the award. Angela has won a scholarship of $15,000 for 3 consecutive study terms.
