Welcome Dr. Andrew Hamilton-Wright to the School of Computer Science!

The students, staff, and faculty would like to welcome Dr. Andrew Hamilton-Wright to the School of Computer Science. Dr. Hamilton-Wright officially joins the School on January 1, 2017. He joins us after working in the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at Mount Alison University as Assistant then Associate Professor. Andrew is an NSERC award-winning researcher, most recently receiving funding through the NSERC Discovery Development Grant program. He is interested in the application of computer science to the biomedical domain, specifically related to supporting clinical decisions using computational tools, and he has expertise in visualization and machine learning.
