Welcome Dr. Luiza Antonie!

The students, staff, and faculty of the School of Computer Science are excited to announce the arrival of our newest faculty member, Dr. Luiza Antonie. After receiving her PhD from the University of Alberta in 2008, Dr. Antonie joined the Department of Economics and Finance at the University of Guelph as an Ontario Ministry of Research and Innovation funded Postdoctoral Fellow. In 2014 she was awarded a 5-year NSERC Discovery Grant to explore record linkages across heterogeneous data sources, which includes research questions spanning data mining, data classification, and data integration. Most recently she has been focused on developing algorithms to create longitudinally linked census data to support interdisciplinary research across campus.
