Dental Opt Out

The dental opt-out deadline for NEW ​Winter registrants is January 22, 2021. Please note, if you previously opted out of the dental plan, you must do so again this year. The one-time opt-out process of year's past will be available next year, AFTER data has been collected from this year's opt-out file.​

Please note, the health plan is a mandatory universal plan; the dental plan offers an opt-out with proof of alternate coverage.

Winter 2021 Transit Services Update

Guelph Transit will continue to operate on the current, reduced schedule, which is the "Saturday" Schedule for Mondays-Saturdays, and the "Sunday Schedule" for Sundays and Holidays. All Extra and Express routes serving the University have been cancelled.

Fall 2020 Bus Pass Update

As the University will be following a hybrid format for F20 (and the majority of classes will be offered online), the GSA submitted a proposal to City Council to temporarily suspend the U-Pass contract for F20 and W21, so that the many graduate students not physically returning to Guelph would not be burdened with a fee for a service that they will likely not be using.

Pro-rated Refund for W20 Bus Passes

The Central Student Association (CSA) and the Graduate Student Association (GSA) are happy to announce that Guelph Transit and City Council have agreed to our request for a pro-rated refund for your Winter 2020 bus pass fee and late night service fee.

Student Financial Services has offered their support and will manage the refund process.

Summer 2020 Bus Pass Update

Beginning on July 6, 2020, fare collection for Guelph Transit will resume.

As graduate students were not charged a transit fee for the Summer 2020 semester, bus passes for July and August must be obtained directly from Guelph Transit.

Guelph Transit is launching a July and August pass for post-secondary students. The pass can be added to your OnYourWay fare card for $68.00 per month starting July 2.
