Call for Nominations to Senate and Board of Governors
Nominations for all graduate student seats on Senate and the Board of Governors are now open!
Nomination period: January 13 to February 7, 2019 at 12:00 p.m.
Voting period: February 24 to March 2 at 12:00 p.m.
Details on eligibility requirements and nomination forms are available online at uoguelph.ca/secretariat/elections.
The deadline to submit nominations is Friday, February 7 at 12:00 p.m.
Mourning the Loss of Ghanimat Azhdari and Milad Ghasemi
The Graduate Student Association mourns the loss of our fellow friends and colleagues, Ghanimat Azhdari and Milad Ghasemi, who were among the passengers on flight PS752 which crashed near Tehran last night.
Ghanimat Azhdari was a PhD student in the Department of Geography, Environment and Geomatics, and Milad Ghasemi Ariani was a PhD student in the Department of Marketing and Consumer Studies.
Today, we are deeply saddened by this tragic loss. The memories of Ghanimat and Milad will forever remain a part of our graduate student body at the University of Guelph.
