GWIL is excited to present A Conversation On Persuasion, an interactive workshop led by Fidelity Investments. This event aims to equip students with not only knowledge on persuasion and the power of influencing others, but actionable tips and tactics for use in the classroom, workplace and everyday life.  **Complete with networking opportunities and food/refreshments, you won't want to miss this! This event is FREE and open to all majors.   

  The REHSA is hosting a FREE fall site tour for the business students. They will be departing from the school on the 15th of November to head to Toronto for a tour of the Colliers office. This is a great opportunity to learn more about commercial real estate, or for any students who are looking to meet fellow students, some faculty, and industry professionals. 

Date: November 9th (5:30 Pm - 9:00 Pm) and 10th (8:00 Am - 9:00 Pm)   The Guelph Business Sustainability Conference will focus on the “profitable self-regulation of business” – a theme that is consistent with the foundation of sustainability and the PRME initiative. Students will be given the opportunity to engage with industry professionals and participate in several professional development workshops.

The Art of Applications is an event of much anticipation, bringing forth the necessary information for any and all applicants. What to Expect: An information session where real-life industry comes into a room and shares their insight on the process of recruiting. Offering valuable information on how to tackle the three stages involved in every recruiting process.

The Experience Guelph Career Fair is an opportunity to meet employers who are actively recruiting students from all programs. Many employers in attendance have full-time, part-time and co-op opportunities posted on Experience Guelph. Students of all years and programs are encouraged to attend this Fair to network with employers to find out more about current and upcoming job opportunities. Why Attend this Career Fair:

Join Julia Moskal, Recruiter at CPA Ontario, to learn how the Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation can expand your career opportunities. The CPA designation can provide you with a variety of options in most industries. Find out more about what a career in business and accounting is really like, and have your questions answered.   Have more detailed questions about your path to the CPA designation?  Julia will be hosting office hours for one-on-one appointment during this time.  

The University of Guelph Marketing Society (UGMS) is proud to present Industry Night on November 7th from 6:30pm-9:30pm at Cutten Fields. This is a fantastic opportunity for business students to develop their skills through an interactive workshop and presentation, while getting the chance to network with business leaders and professionals in various industries.   The event consists of three components: A Keynote speaker, an interactive workshop, and concludes with a networking portion.
