Derry Lecture: Mick Jackson, "How a dollar can change the world"

Mick Jackson, founder of the WildHearts in Action charity, and honorary doctorate recipient at U of G, will be the inaugural speaker at the first annual Derry Lecture. The Derry Lecture was established by Douglas and Margaret Derry in support of the First-Year Seminar program at the University of Guelph.

The First-Year Seminar Program at the University of Guelph presents the inaugural Derry Lecture on "How a Dollar Can Change the World." The Derry Lecture will feature an outstanding speaker who embodies the ideas and values of the University of Guelph, such as interdisciplinary understanding, internationalism and service to society. These are the attitudes and qualities that students cultivate in the First-Year Seminar Program.
