“A Day in the Life of”……a Human Resources Professional Join the College of Business + Economics for a panel discussion event called "A Day in the Life of...", one of a series of events being hosted throughout January and February geared toward specific commerce degree programs.  All Commerce students are encouraged and welcome to attend any of these presentations!

  RESUME CRITIQUES DROP-IN Get ready for the upcoming Job Fair! (March 5th right here in the UC) Co-op & Career Services staff and Peer Helpers will be on-hand, offering students on-the-spot resume critiques and career advice.  Bring a paper copy of your resume.  

Mick Jackson, founder of the WildHearts in Action charity, and honorary doctorate recipient at U of G, will be the inaugural speaker at the first annual Derry Lecture. The Derry Lecture was established by Douglas and Margaret Derry in support of the First-Year Seminar program at the University of Guelph.

The First-Year Seminar Program at the University of Guelph presents the inaugural Derry Lecture on "How a Dollar Can Change the World." The Derry Lecture will feature an outstanding speaker who embodies the ideas and values of the University of Guelph, such as interdisciplinary understanding, internationalism and service to society. These are the attitudes and qualities that students cultivate in the First-Year Seminar Program.
