Where in the World? An afternoon to connect Guelph Researchers and others working Internationally. Want to meet other researchers working in the same countries you are? Share contacts? Collaborate? Are you from a country where Guelph research is taking place? Want to connect with a project or program? This is the event for you. This will be a networking opportunity for researchers and others interested in international activities to connect. Refreshments provided. Come out and connect! CME KTT Workshop

The College of Management and Economics is pleased to host and interactive workshop on "Knowledge Transfer and Technology and Building a KTT Plan". Workshop facilitator: Bronwyne Wilton, PhD, Industry Outreach Knowledge Mobilization Manager, University of Guelph and Duff MacKinnon, OMAFRA KTT Analyst. Workshop is open to everyone in CME with particular relevance to researchers who have been invited to submit a full proposal to one of the OMAFRA/UofG Research Theme competitions or if you are applying for funding under the Agri-Food and Rural Link - KTT Funding Program.

CMESA Encourture Fashion Show

CMESA will be holding an Encouture Fashion Show. All proceeds from the show will be given to Trellis. Tickets are $8 in advance and $10 at the door. CA Panel Night

This session is an opportunity for students to meet Chartered Accountants at various stages in their career and to learn about how they became CAs, what they do, what they like about being a CA and what challenges they face. Thee will be representatives from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario in attendance who can answer questions about the steps you need to take to become a CA. CA Information Night

This is an opportunity for you to meet Chartered Accountants at various stages in their careers and learn about how they became CAs; what they do; what they enjoy about their jobs; and the challenges they face. There will also be representatives from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario in attendance who can answer questions about the steps you need to take to become a CA. For students who know they want to be a CA, this event will give you a chance to meet some CAs and learn more about how to achieve their goals.

HRM Students/Faculty Luncheon

All first and second year HRM students who are interested in meeting faculty members of your program should attend this luncheon. This is a wonderful opportunity to network! In addition, Heather McManus, an HR Generalist and Corporate Recruiter at Randstad and a representative from HRPA will be in attendance. Research and Ethics presentation

The College of Management and Economics is pleased to host a lunchtime presentation and discussion on "Research and Ethics". Invited guest speaker: Sandra Auld, Director, Research Ethics, Office of Research, University of Guelph. Sandy's presentation will provide an overview of the newly released second edition of the Tri-Council guidelines for ethical research involving humans (TCPS2) and U of G's ethics approval process, followed by an open group discussion and question period.
