Travel Funding Awarded

The PSEER Steering Committee has awarded travel funding to four students and one faculty member to cover costs associated with travel to SoTL conferences and workshops. The travel grants will support travel between June 1st, 2018 and September 30th, 2018.

Travel funding winners include:

Michael Moore Master's Student, Department of Chemistry The Biennial Conference on Chemical Education, Notre Dame, IN, July 2018
Matthew Steffler Master's Student, Department of Physics The Association of Physicists Congress, Halifax, Nova Scotia, June 2018
James Fraser PhD Student, School of Computer Science The International Congress on Intelligent Tutoring Systems, Montreal, Quebec, June 2018
Dr. Julie Vale Associate Professor, School of Engineering The Canadian Engineering Education Association, Vancouver, British Columbia, June 2018

If you are interested in applying for the PSEER Travel Grant, the next round of applications will be reviewed September 30th, 2018. Applications for travel funding support received by 3pm on September 30th will be considered for SoTL-based conferences and workshops held between October 1st, 2018 and January 31st, 2019.
