Nominate a community leader for the Board of Governors

U of G’s Board of Governors is now accepting nominations for individuals outside of the University community who might be considered for appointment to the Board. Details on preferred competencies and experience are on the Secretariat website. Nominations are accepted until January 31.

The second Senate meeting of the 2017-18 session was held on November 27, 2017, and was chaired by President Franco Vaccarino.

Chair of the Senate Priorities and Planning Committee, Dr. Ian Newby-Clark, commenced the meeting with a territorial land acknowledgment.

The President offered oral remarks, highlighting reasons to celebrate important successes at the University and the ways in which the University is taking part in broader conversations to build the University’s reputation and advance post-secondary education.
