Dr. Alexandra Harlander Awarded for Innovative Poultry Welfare
Dr. Alexandra Harlander, professor in the Department of Animal Biosciences at the University of Guelph’s Ontario Agricultural College, has been named the recipient of the 2026 Creativity Award from the International Society for Applied Ethology (ISAE). Harlander was recognized for both her innovative contributions to poultry welfare research and her ability to turn complex scientific questions into practical solutions for farmers.
