Curriculum Development

Curriculum development refers to how we develop the learning experiences students complete in order to earn their degree. Whether it is the development of a curriculum for a new program, or changes to an existing program, processes exist to help streamline these processes. These processes are different depending on whether changes are occurring for an undergraduate or a graduate program.

At the University of Guelph, these changes are governed through a variety of procedures that report back through Senate. Depending on the change requested, different paperwork and information is required. These processes exist to help create consistency for students and faculty, and to ensure that the developments being submitted are of high quality and in line with Ministry and disciplinary standards.
