This session offers strategies for planning, outlining, drafting, and revising research articles in the sciences. We will explore the key components of the Introduction, Methods, Results, and Discussion sections. We will also provide a mapping tool that writers can use to organize their own scientific research articles. This workshop is designed for graduate students and upper year undergraduate students who are writing a thesis or preparing for graduate school.

Consent Action Week is an annual educational initiative held at post-secondary campuses across Ontario to create a dialogue about consent, survivorship, prevention and to increase understandings of sexual and gender-based violence. All are welcome to attend including students, staff and faculty members. Preventing and Responding to Sexual and Gender-Based Violence on Campus Workshop

In this workshop facilitated by the Sexual and Gender-Based Violence Support and Education Centre, participants will learn foundational skills for understanding ways sexual and gender-based violence can manifest on campus, how to respond to disclosures of sexual and gender-based violence, and gain confidence in their knowledge of resource options and obligations when supporting survivors.
