The National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women Virtual Vigil

Posted on behalf of Student Wellness: You are invited to join our community memorials in honour of the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women, where will mourn and remember the women killed at the L’École Polytechnique in Montreal in 1989 & women killed by femicide in 2020. Our SAFE *Sexual Assault Free Environment" team will host a virtual vigil on December 7th @ 1:00pm. Registration and vigil access is available here:

National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence against Women

December 6th is the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women. On this day each year, we remember the 14 women who were killed at l’École Polytechnique de Montréal and the many who were and still are affected by this tragic event.

Go ENG Girl 2020 (Virtual)

This year Go ENG Girl 2020 is coming to you, virtually! Our Women in Engineering and Science (WiSE) club are designing the challenges in a pre-packed Go-ENG-Girl treasure box for easy pick up or delivery! During the online event, our WiSE undergrad facilitators will guide everyone through games and activities to showcase what engineering has to offer. Special guest speakers will share their stories of passion, inspiration and success in the field of engineering during the morning event.
