Registration Process

When an application is electronically received at the CCLC, it is sorted by registration date, affiliation with the University of Guelph and the child's date of birth. Due to our relationship with the University of Guelph, applicants' affiliations are given the following priority:

1. Families with children currently enrolled at the CCLC

2. Students (degree program) of the University of Guelph

3. Faculty/Staff of the University of Guelph

4. Families with children who have previously attended the CCLC

5. Alumni of the University of Guelph

6. Community members

If you are interested in applying to the CCLC, please fill out the Waitlist ApplicationIf you are planning to place more than one child on the waitlist, please complete a separate application for each child and indicate if the child is a sibling. Upon completion of the online application, you will be directed to a confirmation screen indicating that your application to the CCLC waitlist has been received. You will not be receiving a confirmation email.

You must contact the Centre via email at cclcwait@uoguelph.ca once every 6 months  for your waitlist registration to remain active. Ensure that your email includes your child's first and last name and provide any updates to your information, or simply state that you would like to stay on the waitlist. Please do not fill out a new application form as this will reset your registration date. 

If your affiliation changes to "Student", your registration date will change to reflect the date we receive your University of Guelph Student ID number and the name of your degree program.

Typically, child care spaces are available at the start of July until September; when the Senior Preschool children are withdrawn from the CCLC to attend Junior Kindergarten. It is highly unlikely spaces will come available from October to July.
