Study Abroad Information Session
Interested in studying abroad? Attend an information session!
We have a wide variety of study abroad options for students in any program of study. Enhance your U of G studies by participating in an Exchange program, Field School program, Research abroad, or Summer Language Program.
Applications for Summer 2019, Fall 2019, and Winter 2020 have closed.
If you are interested in applying for a study abroad program for Summer 2020, Fall 2020 and Winter 2021 semesters, you must attend an information session. The sessions provide information on your study abroad options, academic considerations, financing your study abroad and will help you with your decision-making process. Once you've attended a Study Abroad Information Session you will receive access to the online Study Abroad application.

Registration for the Info Sessions is required and in the Fall you will be able to find a link here to register.
Study Abroad Information Sessions will run three times a week from September to January during working hours. The days and times are as follows:
- Mondays: 1:30pm-2:30pm
- Wednesdays: 11:00am-12:00noon
Venue: UC 390, except for the dates below which will be done online
Online Information Sessions
The following sessions will be presented online for students who can't attend a session in person. An email will be sent out to all those registered the day before the session with details on how to access it. The software will not work on a cell phone, students must have access to a computer.

- Wednesday, November 20th
- Wednesday, December 4th
- Wednesday, January 15th
The deadline to submit a Study Abroad application for exchange programs for Summer 2019, Fall 2019 and Winter 2020 was Friday, January 25th, 2019.
Most applications will have the same due date, however, some programs will have either an earlier or a later due date. Be sure to double check the deadline for the specific program you are applying to.
