Interested in studying abroad? Attend an information session!

We have a wide variety of study abroad options for students in any program of study. Enhance your U of G studies by participating in an Exchange program, Field School program, Research abroad, or Summer Language Program.

If you are interested in applying for a study abroad program for Summer 2020, Fall 2020 and Winter 2021 semesters, you must attend an information session. The sessions provide information on your study abroad options, academic considerations, financing your study abroad and will help you with your decision-making process. Once you've attended a Study Abroad Information Session you will receive access to the online Study Abroad application. 

Schedule of Sessions

Registration for the Info Sessions is required and you can follow this link to register.

Study Abroad Information Sessions will run three times a week from September to January during working hours. The days and times are as follows:

  • Mondays: 1:30pm-2:30pm
  • Wednesdays: 11:00am-12:00noon
  • Thursdays:1:30pm-2:30pm

Venue: UC 390 (take the south elevators up to the third floor and it will be behind you)

September: 16, 18, 19, 23, 25, 26, 30
October: 2, 3, 7, 9, 10, 16, 17, 21, 23, 24, 28, 30, 31
November: 4, 6, 7, 11, 13, 14, 18, 20, 21, 25, 27, 28
December: 4
January: 13, 15, 16, 20, 22, 23

Online Information Sessions

If you cannot attend an info session in person please send an email to and alternate arrangements can be made.

The deadline to submit a Study Abroad application for exchange programs for Summer 2020, Fall 2020 and Winter 2021 is Friday, January 24th, 2020. 

Most applications will have the same due date, however, some programs will have either an earlier or a later due date. Be sure to double-check the deadline for the specific program you are applying to.
