Research Interests

My research focuses on multiscale soft tissue mechanics, with an emphasis on material modeling, and fracture mechanics. I use theoretical and experimental approaches in my research toward understanding the mechanobiology of tissues, such as cartilage. I also apply machine learning techniques on the clinical images, such as CT scans, to diagnose soft tissue diseases.
