HK5K is back!  The five-kilometre fun run is hosted by the Human Kinetics Student Association and Nutritional and Nutraceutical Sciences Student Association in the University of Guelph's Arboretum. All funds raised go to United Way.

Dr. Anthony Incognito, assistant professor in the Division of Biomedical Sciences at Memorial University of Newfoundland, will present Targeted neuromodulation for circulatory disorders on May 2 at 1 p.m. in FS 146. 

Dr. Jeremy Walsh is an assistant professor of kinesiology in the Faculty of Science at McMaster University. His research focuses on characterizing the physiological mechanisms underlying the cognitive enhancing effects of exercise and exogenous ketone supplementation in humans. His work explores the effects of these interventions on cerebral blood flow, BDNF, and cognition in cognitively normal adults and adults with elevated dementia risk.

Dr. Michael E. Cinelli, Associate Professor of Kinesiology and Physical Education at Wilfrid Laurier University, will present "An ecological approach to understanding factors affecting individual’s collision avoidance behaviours with other pedestrians within different environments" as part of the Human Health and Nutritional Sciences' Departmental Seminar Series.
