The HREO is currently in a period of transition and renewal. Over the next few months, we’ll be recruiting and training new team members, and re-examining how we can best serve the U of G community across all areas of academic, work and campus life.
During this period, the office will remain open, although our hours may vary. Please know that all messages are important to us, and we will respond to all inquiries as quickly as we can. All emergencies should be reported to campus police: dial Ext. 2000 or 519-840-5000 or 911.
We ask your patience during this time, as our staff resources are limited. Some committees will not meet until January 2014, and other services may be delegated or outsourced (e.g., training).
We look forward to building on the former HREO team’s extraordinary leadership and accomplishments on behalf of U of G’s commitment to equity, inclusion and mutual respect.
We welcome your ideas and suggestions, and we will do our best to keep the university community informed and engaged throughout the transition process. We’re excited about the changes ahead and anticipate a return to full operational capacity in early 2014.
