Longo's new Guelph location is now hiring Full Time, Part-Time and Student Department Clerks for their opening in October 2017. They are looking for individuals who are passionate about food and providing excellent customer service! Daytime, evening and overnight positions are available in their Bakery, Customer Service, Floral, Kitchen, Produce, Grocery, Dairy, Deli, Meat, Seafood, Receiving, Starbucks and Demo Departments. The job fair takes place September 7 and 8 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. each day.

The Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) Level 2 Award in Wines & Spirits will teach you about the key grape varieties grown around the world, tasting techniques, the different styles of wine produced and the production of spirits and liqueurs.

This symposium will explore how marketers can create effective campaigns and new product offerings for their customers by leveraging data and using analytics. Attendees will hear presentations from three University of Guelph researchers with expertise in marketing analytics and consumer insight. Over lunch, attendees will have the opportunity to share their experiences and discuss challenges they are currently facing using analytics.

To celebrate Canada’s sesquicentennial and Guelph’s 190th anniversary, Guelph Museums launches a unique lecture series to reflect on our collective history and the theme of nation building. Building Canada Lectures, presented in partnership with the University of Guelph, is set for the second Wednesday of each month at 7 PM at Guelph Civic Museum.
