The University of Guelph’s Food Institute is hosting its second Food and Agriculture Business Seminar, June 5-7. This seminar brings together a diverse group of current and emerging leadership in the industry to collectively examine trends and issues in today’s global marketplace. By working together in strategically dynamic groups, participants will benefit from each other’s expertise as they critically examine real cases and interact with the executives of the featured businesses in a non-competitive environment.

The University of Guelph's Centre for Business and Student Enterprise (CBaSE) and College of Business and Economics are pleased to host the 2016 Canadian Council for Small Business and Entrepreneurship (CCSBE) Conference. Entrepreneurs, educators, policy makers, business owners, students, and others interested in promoting small business and entrepreneurship are encouraged to attend this event. This year's theme is Leaders for a Sustainable World: Role of Business as a Force for Good.

Wednesday, March 30th 6:00pm-7:30pm Landscape Architecture 204 (building between Rozanski and Athletics Centre) CEO and President of Danby (former Director of Blackberry), will be coming to the university to talk about some of the secrets to business success he has discovered along the way. He is also a leader in the Guelph community and has personally sponsored 50 Syrian refugee families.
