Wine & Spirit Education Trust Certification: Level 1 Award in Wines

Want to give your wine knowledge a boost? Consider taking the WSET Level 1 Award in Wines. This program is great for new or inexperienced front line staff in hospitality and retail sectors and for those who want to learn the main grape varieties and food and wine matching.  Register by December 18 for this two-day course hosted at the University of Guelph's School of Hospitality, Food and Tourism Management. Research Event: PhD Speaker Series ft. Dr. Heather Mair

Join us on January 13 for a talk by prof. Heather Mair from the University of Waterloo's Department of Recreation and Leisure Studies. Her seminar is titled "Tourism as Pedagogy?". Held monthly from September to April, the PhD Speaker Series features University of Guelph faculty as well as researchers from around the globe. Its purpose is to encourage knowledge sharing campus-wide. Anyone from the University of Guelph is welcome to attend.
