Enterprize Business Plan Competition

"The 2012 Enterprize Business Plan Competition spans across Canada and involves four regions: Western,Central, Quebec, and Atlantic. Catered toward promising undergraduate students of diverse faculties, Enterprize will draw young, ambitious and motivated leaders of tomorrow. The business plan is a powerful learning tool for competitors, as it offers a structured learning path to further develop the competitor’s entrepreneurial skills and equip students with the tools necessary to be a successful entrepreneur.

2011 ICASP Symposium - "Making the Changes: Ethics and the Improvising Business"

The Improvisation, Community, and Social Practice (ICASP) project and the College of Management and Economics are proud co-sponsors of the upcoming 2011 ICASP Symposium. The symposium is scheduled for Friday, December 2, 2011 at the Macdonald Stewart Art Centre (MSAC). University of Guelph, under the theme " Making the Changes: Ethics and the Improvising Business ". The symposium will run from 1:00pm - 6:00pm on the second floor of MAC followed by a musical performance in the main gallery from 8:00pm - 10:00pm. All events are free and open to the public.

CME Townhall - Exploration of Accreditation (AACSB & EQUIS)

Earlier this year, discussions were raised by the Dean’s Council regarding the issue of accreditation. The Council decided to explore the possibility of CME becoming an accredited school. A CME-wide steering committee was formed with a mandate of submitting a report to the Dean’s Council by December 2011 on what accreditation of our College would mean for our faculty, our staff, our students (both undergraduate and graduate), and the broader CME community.
