Interested in a professional career in business? Want to learn more about the CPA designation? Join us online on October 18 from 12:00 p.m to 1:00 p.m. to meet with a post-secondary recruiter from CPA Ontario. Learn about your pathway to earning a CPA designation. Discover the rewarding careers available to CPAs. We can answer questions about CPA course requirements, work experience, getting involved, positioning yourself for job search and more.

Ask a Career Advisor: Applying to Teachers College

Join BCDC Career Advisor Kate Cooper to talk about applying to Teachers' College as a B.Comm student. We will cover programs that accept business as a teachable subject area and how to navigate the application process. There will also be plenty of time for your questions. Date: Wednesday, October 19th, 2022 Time: 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. This group session will be held virtually on Microsoft Teams. Virtual Information Session: Career Mentorship for Individuals with Disabilities via MentorAbility

MentorAbility provides a unique mentoring experience in which job seekers who self-identify as having a disability (Protégés) are matched with individual mentors (employers or business leaders) - to explore different career pathways and opportunities in their desired field of interest. The experience can last from 1 hour to 1 day long. Attend this information session to learn how to get involved with MentorAbility and about the benefits of the program.
