Traditional marketing programs focus on how businesses sell their products and services. We also focus on the flip side of the coin, examining consumer attitudes and behaviours that influence what is bought and sold. And, we offer one of the only two undergraduate programs in Canada focusing on the real estate sector.
Marketing exists where customers and businesses intersect. Consumer needs and attitudes are forever evolving. The competition introduces something new, the economy takes an unexpected turn and marketers adjust products and services to adapt to the new environment. Then something else changes... In marketing, the challenges just keep coming. Marketing may well be the most fascinating and challenging facet of business. It is a dynamic field calling for continually evolving strategic decision making. Success depends on creativity, up-to-date knowledge of customers and market conditions - and the ability to stay a step or two ahead.
