A Call for Nominations is issued annually for each of the University awards and honours under the purview of Senate, as follows:

Spring/Summer

Call for Nominations - Honorary Degrees 2026

Note: Nominations for Honorary Degrees are accepted year-round. Normally, to be considered for presentation at convocation ceremonies in June, nominations for honorary degrees must be received by the September deadline of the year prior.

• For presentation at convocation ceremonies in 2026, nomination deadline: September 3, 2025.
