Articulation Agreements

Both articulation and pathway agreements provide students with opportunities to transition from one post-secondary course of study into another with transfer credits / advanced standing.

Information about the University of Guelph's Articulation and Pathway Agreements with other institutions are available on-line. Information about agreements with other Ontario schools can also be accessed through the Ontario Postsecondary Transfer Guide (ONTransfer).

Articulation Agreements

An articulation agreement is a contract between two or more institutions of higher learning that allow students who have completed a specific program at one institution to be assigned specific advanced standing credits in a specific program at another institution.

Pathway Agreements

Pathways help college students who have completed a specific program efficiently transfer into a bachelor’s degree program by providing them with transfer credits based on their prior learning experiences in that program.
