Posted on Friday, November 25th, 2022

This virtual centre is a not-for-profit organization designed to support farmers with a research-to-action approach to mental health. Dr. Andria Jones-Bitton and Dr. Briana Hagen, co-developers of the mental health literacy program In the Know and recent winners of a U of G Innovation of the Year award, are on the Centre's roster.

The CCAW will work with provincial and national partners to advance farmer mental health research, clinical programming, education and advocacy.

Jones-Bitton began working on the In the Know program in 2015 with funding from the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and matching funds from a number of agricultural organizations.
