Quiltro, a story about personal reflection written by College of Arts Alumna Yasmine Agocs and directed by Asenia Lyall, will be featured in this year's Toronto Fringe Festival. Please see event details below.
What would you do if you could experience the memories of your ancestors?
Following her parents’ divorce, 13-year-old Nina runs away to join a group of stray dogs in her town. On her journey of self-actualization and acceptance, the looming, ominous presence of a dangerous cryptic creature stalks her, preying on the fear within her deep, dark memories. Please join us at Toronto Fringe 2025 for the premiere of Quiltro, written by University of Guelph Alumna Yasmine Agocs and directed by Asenia Lyall. This show was written as part of Agocs' Master’s thesis supervised by Dr. Kimberly McLeod and Judith Thompson in 2023 and won second-place at the 2024 Hart House Playwriting competition. Quiltro will have eight shows at the TD Financial Studio at Soulpepper.
Tickets are on sale now. Visit the show's Fringe page to book tickets.
