On March 19th, SoCS Professor Ritu Chaturvedi was awarded the Central Student Union (CSA) 2024 Teaching Excellence Award, along with SoE Professor Dr. Mohamad Abou el Nasr. This award is a student-nominated award that recognizes professors' "significant contributions to teaching through their dedication, innovation, and commitment to excellence".

The Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) has awarded Dr. Zytner with the 2023 Ontario Volunteer Service Awards for 30 years of service. The award pays tribute to volunteers for continuous years of commitment and dedication to the PEO.

Assistant Professor, Mike Massa from Physics was the sole recipient of the Distinguished Professor Award for Excellence in Innovation in Teaching.

The University Teaching Leadership Fellows are a distinguished and cross-disciplinary community of educators who act as institutional change agents by engaging in educational leadership, research, advocacy, networking, service, and mentoring to promote educational excellence. The Fellows will lead and support teaching initiatives and contribute to college and institutional cultures of open discourse and critical reflection about teaching, learning, and student success.
Dr. Aicheng Chen, a professor in the Department of Chemistry, was presented with the Ricardo Aroca Award from the Chemical Institute of Canada for his contributions to the field of analytical chemistry.
The award, sponsored by the University of Windsor, is presented to a scientist residing in Canada who has made a distinguished contribution to the field of analytical chemistry while working in Canada.
The Department of Chemistry lab coordinator team, comprising of Robert Reed, Kate Stuttaford, Jennifer Proulx and Dara Schaefer, have received the University of Guelph's 2022 Exemplary Team Recognition Award for their outstanding efforts to deliver high-quality learning experiences to students including pivots related to COVID-19.
