Welcome to the Office of Diversity & Human Rights

The Office of Diversity and Human Rights (DHR) supports the University of Guelph community by providing educational, cultural and policy-related initiatives and guidance on equity, diversity, inclusion, accessibility and human rights. DHR’s five mandated areas of work include: Accessibility, Educational  Equity, Employment Equity, Human Rights, and an Inclusive Community. DHR collaborates with campus partners and other departments to find practical solutions to complaints, awareness-raising and training.

Establishing welcoming university environments begins with a strong understanding of EDI principles and the important role they play in social and academic success. Our office offers a wide variey of training workshops and resources that explore equity, diversity, inclusion, human rights, accessibility and more.
