Congratulations to Shoshanah Jacobs who received a Women of Distinction Award
Twelve of 20 women who received the 2018 Women of Distinction Awards last week have University of Guelph connections. The Awards recognize and celebrate the achievements of women in Wellington County. They were presented on May 3rd at the River Run Centre.
Wendy Van Drunen as the recipient of the 2017-2018 IB Distinguished Graduate Student Speaker Award
On behalf of the seminar committee, we wish to congratulate Wendy Van Drunen as the recipient of the 2017-2018 IB Distinguished Graduate Student Speaker Award. We had five highly competitive applicants in total, all of who would have given great talks and were worthy.
Please note that the date of Wendy's seminar is Tuesday, April 17th and will take place at 3:30 pm in SSC 2315.

Full-time MSc students not beyond semester 5 or a full-time PhD students not beyond semester 9, pursuing graduate studies in the area of Plant Science in the College of Biological Science.
3 IB students receive 2018 Student Life Awards
On March 21, Student Life celebrated the achievements of outstanding U of G students, staff and faculty with the 2018 Student Life Awards.
The awards honour groups and individuals who improve life at U of G. This year, 3 of the winners are Integrative Biology students:
