Great Canadian Sales Competition

The Annual John Molson Sports Marketing (JMSM) Sports Business Conference is the largest student-run conference in Canada and has run for 17 years and counting.

LIVE’s Curriculum challenges delegates to face realistic executive decisions and solve them in the context of a competition. In teams of five, delegates will take on the roles of senior managers in fictitious companies that are in competition with one another.

The APEX (Achieving Professional Excellence) Conference is an annual, non-profit undergraduate business conference hosted by a team of dedicated students from York University’s Schulich School of Business.

A unique financial case competition presented by the Ryerson University Finance Society, in which it allows undergraduate commerce students from across Canada, to utilize and develop their analytical skills to solve current financial issues.

Jeux de Commerce Central (JDCC)

January

Late March

JDCC is modeled after the infamous Jeux du Commerce (JDC), which has been run by Eastern Canadian bilingual Business Schools for the last 25 years. JDCC is the biggest conference of its kind in Central Canada, as it entails business case analysis, parliamentary style debates, sports competitions, charity and community service as well as social challenges.

Queen's Sports Industry Conference (QSIC)

Delegates have the opportunity to interact with industry professionals and go behind the scenes with new products. In the Sportsnet Free-Agency, simulation where participants can put themselves in the shoes of professionals, analyze athlete profiles and negotiate contracts.
