The Accounting Society of Guelph in coordination with the Business Career Development Centre, would like to present their exclusive Accounting Recruiting Event for Business Commerce students interested in pursuing careers in Accounting. Are you still seeking a summer or full-time opportunity?  It’s not too late to make sure you are job search ready!  Attend the Job Search Boot Camp to learn key tips on Resumes, Cover Letters, Interviews and Job Search Strategies. The Boot Camp will be separated into 20 min overviews of each topic over one hour:

Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) Level 1 Award in Spirits (application deadline)

The Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) Level 1 Award in Spirits will introduce you to the basic principles of spirit production and the main types and styles of spirits available.   You will also learn how to serve spirits and understand the factors affecting the flavour of spirits. Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) Level 2 Award in Wines & Spirits (application deadline)

The Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) Level 2 Award in Wines & Spirits will teach you about the key grape varieties grown around the world, tasting techniques, the different styles of wine produced and the production of spirits and liqueurs. Beer Seminar: The Lager Beer Tradition (application deadline)

We will talk about what exactly a lager beer is and how it differs from ale.  Learn about the history of Lager beer in Europe and its eventual expansion to the New World.  Classic styles will be covered and lead us into modern interpretations.  We will taste a variety of Lager beer to explore the surprising depth and diversity of this often misunderstood category.
