Posted on Tuesday, September 18th, 2018

The Department of Management in the College of Business and Economics celebrated the achievements of its accounting students at the annual Academic Excellence in Accounting Awards Dinner at the OAC Centennial Arboretum Centre.

The event is an opportunity to recognize accounting students with strong academic and leadership backgrounds, in addition to creating an opportunity to network with members of the business community. Over 75 people attended the event, including representatives from BDO Canada LLP, Canada Revenue Agency, Caissa LLP, Collins Barrow, CPA Ontario, Deloitte, KPMG LLP, Linamar, Manulife and RLB LLP.

The event was also a chance to present this year’s Academic Excellence in Accounting awards and several scholarship awards sponsored by various accounting firms.
